About Dispos

Dispos is a tool to quickly find the approximate page in the right parish register. Dispos has links to the three scanned image providers: the Swedish National Archives, ArkivDigital, and Ancestry.

With Dispos you can also search for a parish and see where it is located on a map, including neighbouring parishes. You will also find links to historical maps at, e.g., Lantmäteriet (the Land Survey authority).

Dispos is a benefit for DIS members. You search in Dispos with the search form provided, or you can search Dispos using either Disgen or Disbyt.
